Music, and some songs from guest vocalists, written by one of Finland’s most brilliant, progressive and perverse fiddlers. Fiddle, just one of his tools, rarely presides here, with a thin, buzzy tone when it does. A patchwork with strong moments, but a cluttered toyshop of fizzy sound processing too often obscures its impact.
