Presented as a concept album about musical migrations, but in sound generally high-energy heavy Portuguese folk-jazz-rock - electric guitar squee, flutes, rauschpfeife, fuzz, slap-popping bass guitar and drums - elevated by the rather fine, authoritative singing of accordionist Celina da Piedade, plus guests including regional trad vocal groups. www.uxukalhus.net
