UNNI LØVLID
Lux
Heilo HCD 7271 (2014)
Løvlid sings, with poised, slow stateliness, folk songs, folk
hymns and poetic lyrics in the tradition of her native Sogn og
Fjordane in Norway’s fjordland. Soundscape accompaniments on
scraped double bass mostly clash more than enhance; more
sympathetically atmospheric are those on rubbed glasses.
