TUMULT
Wallegnav
GO’ Danish GO 0101 (2001)
Fuzzingly hefty, fresh and ingenious fiddle, guitar, bass and drums folk-rock
4-piece deliver with ace facility well-varied Danish traditional and original
material and sing the lyrics like they matter. Somehow slicing through the
fading simulacra of elsewhere, Danish bands like Tumult and Serras are
projecting real originality and wit and emphasising their roots musics as did
the first rank of UK folk-rock bands way back.
