Payback Time
Tummel TUMCD 004 (2009)

Hot high-energy klezmer from Swedish septet including folk saxist Pär Moberg and Bosnian accordionist plus violin, electric guitar, helicon and drums, with original songs in English. A fun, big-noise, well-recorded onslaught, though the singer, seeming influenced by the great Alex Harvey at his most manic, could perhaps occasionally let up from vaudeville-hysterical. www.evolvingtraditions.se
