TRIO HARDANGER
Trio Hardanger
2L 2L12 (2003)
Three of today’s leading players of hardingfele, Knut Hamre, Åse Teigland and
Frank Rolland, play the repertoire and compositions – largely springarar and
brureslåtter - of fiddler Halldor Meland (1884-1972). Mostly they’re solo, but
on four tracks they give his tunes something unknown in his day, a trio
arrangement. www.2L.no
