TRES FAN BALL
A Peu De Plaça
Edimusic EM 401 (2005)
A band that’s probably enjoyable among Valencia fiesta street fun and dancing,
but in the carefulness of the studio its rumpty-tumpty tunes plod. The main
sounds are the flabiol (one-handed whistle) and fiddle, plus shawms gralla and
tarota, or bagpipe sac de gemecs, over oom-cha accordion and fretted
instruments. www.tresfanball.com
