STURLA EIDE
Slåtter Fra Meldal Og Orkdal Vol.1
Etnisk Musikklubb EM56 (2010)
Norway’s Eide, of Flukt et al, is a leading, light-touched player of both
Hardanger and ordinary fiddle. Here he concentrates on tunes from his native
area, both old springdans tunes and the more straight-rhythm gammeldans forms.
An oldish photo shows Meldal Spelemannslag with guitar and accordion, but he
plays elegantly solo.
