Nyckelharpa champion Magnus Holmström, with Tomas Lindberg mostly on an instrument that, via Väsen’s Roger Tallroth, is becoming Swedish traditional, the Canadian-made Seagull 12-string guitar, used like a massive-sounding octave mandola. Tradition rolls healthily onward in a set of their own hefty tunes including polskas, waltzes and a schottis. www.dimmaswe.com
