Seventh album from significant Polish roots band running magazine Gadki Z Chatki and festival. This one centres on folk poems by Wanda Czubernat set to trad tunes from throughout the Carpathians. Earthy, characterful playing of traditional and other acoustic instruments, though the vocals, with new singer Ela Rojek, while strong, this time seem rather theatrical. www.mikolaje.lublin.pl
