Jannok’s last album’s wide-screen Sámi pop was rather appealing, but after her disappointingly cabaret-style off-Womex 08 show this one is soft Sámi-language singer-songwritering with a late-night jazz trio of piano-bass-drums, plus some rock-orchestral, her light voice occasionally touching joik. www.capricerecords.se
