RODRIGO ROMANÍ
Cantos Caucanos

Boa Do Fol 31 (2003)

Ex-Milladoiro multi-instrumentalist’s tribute to the late Avilés de Taramancos. Romaní and María Arribe sing his settings of Avilés’ verse, reflecting the poet’s life in Galicia and Colombia in a combination of Latin syncopation, guitars and keyboards with harp, gaita, violin and hurdy-gurdy, plus a reflective orchestral work embodying Avilés’ own speaking. www.boacor.com
