Rakija Records RRCD001 (2011)

Norway-based Balkan band led by Serbian Kosovo-exile guitarist and fronted by Serbian and Norwegian female singers with violin, trumpet and rhythm section. Admirable attitude, particularly as expressed in the song that translates as “No Country Worth Dying For”. Musically OK, but richer production could have given it more whizz and impact. www.rakijarecords.no
