QUADRILHA
Quarto Crescente
Vachier & Associados V&A 002 (1999)
Attractive high light tenor Portuguese vocals from guitarist/bandolimist
Sebastião Antunes in set mostly of his own songs and a couple of trad, with band
centred on concertina/accordeon, violin, bass plus some gaita de foles, harp,
hurdy-gurdy, sploshing water etc. Likeable but oft marred by crashingly unsubtle
drumkit.
