Well-packaged CD of recordings, made between 1986 and his recent 70th birthday, of Romany professional village fiddler from the Hungarian-Slovak border, accompanied by viola, cimbalom and bass. His repertoire, played and sung with swirling, stirring verve, draws on and embellishes Hungarian and Slovak folk songs, Gypsy tunes and international popular songs from the radio. www.folkeuropa.com
