Polish roots given restless make-some-noize dancefloor beats or reggaefication by remixers or by the bands themselves. More varied and creative than that sounds, though, with tracks from the less internationally known equalling those from Warsaw Village Band, Orkiestra Sw.Mikolaje, Trebunie-Tutki/Twinkle Brothers and Kayah, but sadly missing the late original master of this ilk, Grzegorz z Ciechowa. www.eastblok.com
