The introduction of a singer, Karen Mose Nørgaard, and so of traditional ballads and songs, has given new focus to the previously instrumental band’s chunky weave of fiddle, flute and accordion underpinned by Anja Præst Mikkelsen’s bass clarinet, springing them into the Danish roots front line. www.gofolk.dk
