OSKORRI
Desertore
Elkar KD-645 (2004)
A pioneering band formed in the hard Franco days, Oskorri are a cherished
institution in Euskadi, radiating in their songs a great warmth and depth of
feeling for the good of their land and its culture. Only some of that comes
across on record to non-Basques, but with several recent extra new members and
some guests this, while not radically different from their many previous
releases, shows them still in characteristic form.
