An octave-nyckelharpa, that is, in the hands of Väsen maestro Johansson, who here, in tunes as impelling as one would expect from him, also plays 3-row chromatic nyckelharpa, kontrabasharpa and fiddle, solo and duetting with the sparky fiddle of Kalle Almlöf, Mikael Marin’s 5-string viola, fellow nyckelharper Markus Svensson and the brilliance of Scots clarsach player Catriona McKay. www.drone.se
