A rising young star of the Norwegian fiddle scene, on the ordinary fiddle in tunes from his native Røros at the north of the country’s southern bulge, which is standard-fiddle territory but the playing has much hardingfele-like double-stopping; and on hardingfele with tunes from Hallingdal, which is down towards Oslo in that fiddle’s traditional region. www.emcd.no
