Margits Sånger
Sjelvar SJECD 24 (2007)
Traditional songs collected from Norwegian singer Margit Finnekåsa (1904-1989),
translated into Swedish and sung by Maria Misgeld, a good singer with nice
command of microtones, sensitively accompanied by guitar and fiddle or viola.
Margit herself sings on the hidden (why?) track. More appealing than the
uninspired monochrome packaging suggests.
