Folk Music Institute KICD 86 (2003)

Pulling tones far richer than might be expected by those who consider mandolins mouse music, from Gibson-style flatback mandolins and octave mandolins are Petri Hakala, JPP’s Arto Järvelä and the Kalaniemi band’s Olli Varis, plus bassist Tapani Varis, with their own finely melodious and intricately-arranged tunes.
