Retrospective compilation by major Portuguese band led by Pedro Ayres Magalhães. Nylon-strung guitars, accordion, strings and keyboards in musicianly but unrelentingly elegant arrangements with, on sixteen of the seventeen tracks, Teresa Salgueiro’s floating contralto which though initially seductive begins here to irritate like too much stroking in the same place.
