Free improvising with folk roots from trio of hardanger fiddler Britt Pernille Frøholm, reeds player Mathilde Grooss Viddal, and Oslo University professor of folk music Tellef Kvifte on laptop, bagpipe and sjøfløyte. Their edgy minimalist soundscapes can be seen as ‘messing about’ if one visualises the instruments, but the audio can create unsettling or evocative imagery. www.grappa.no
