Quite a glut of Suvi Oskala releases this year. On this one she and fellow fine fiddler Lajunen develop ten traditional Finnish dance tunes - mazurka, waltz, polkka, polonaise and polskas - into extended pieces, exploring and improvising on five-string fiddles.
