LAJKÓ FÉLIX
Makovecz Turné
Fonó FA266-2 (2011)
Live set of fiddle improvising, accompanied by overly loud and omnipresent
chording viola, that mainly involves very fast, dense chuggy-scampering.
Initially impresses, but after a while, despite the esteem this elusive
Serbian-Hungarian maestro commands, and his obvious ability, begins to seem
disconnectedly formless flashiness.
