Fine Finnish fiddler with a project that’s also an engaging solo live show, bringing strong melodies from South Ostrobothnia to new life with verve, fine-toned elegance and expressive extemporisation on fiddle and octave fiddle. So many fiddle CDs are just tune displays; this is a compelling through-listen as music.
