VLADA KANIC
En Passant Med Aksent
Etnisk Musikklubb EM8 (2001)
Kanic, Croatian born in Serbia, sings in his adopted Norwegian his rewrites of
traditional Gypsy songs and some of his own and others, of life, migration and
the losses of war, in a lyrical, passionate style reminiscent of Brecht-Weill or
German cabaret, classily accompanied by strings, guitar, accordion, cimbalom,
bass.
