Far from the spacious minimalism of much contemporary Sámi joik-based music, from the maker of 2003’s wonderfully intense techno-joik Boska and more comes a dense maelstrom of churning, free-forming distorted guitars, brass, meaty synths, drums and wordlessly joiking male voices. Tough, impressive and distinctive.
