JAREK ADAMÓW
Fall In Mountains
Folken Music 05 (2013)
While soloist Adamów’s engagement with the old Polish itinerant bards is
laudable, he disengages the listener by opening with a 6-minute clarinet
improvisation over an annoying mid-pitch hurdy-gurdy drone sounding like a buzz
in the circuitry, followed by 12 more minutes of the same drone under an
unvarying 3-note recitative ballad vocal.
