Hardanger-fiddle tunes from Kirkebøen’s native Ål in the valley of Hallingdal. She’s a dancer and it shows in the fine lift of her playing, her fiddle’s rich high-ringing tone enhanced by the reverb of Oslo’s Tøyen church so the notes overlap and seem to multiply. www.emcd.no
