An attractive set of trad songs and tunes from a duo that showcased on Womex 11’s Nordic stage: Swedish singer-guitarist/citternist Esbjörn Hazelius, with a mellifluous, relaxed voice that reminds of such as Scotland’s Rod Paterson or England’s Dave Burland, and the rich tones of leading nyckelharpa-player Johan Hedin.
