Compositions by Vancouver-based duo of Mei Han on zheng and Raine-Reusch mainly on zheng but also adding in other string, reed and flute tone colours of ichigenkin, sho, guan zi and hun, with double bassist Laurence Mollerup. New-agey title but, while the music has a good deal of the instrumentation’s implicit calm sparseness, it’s innovative and muscular. www.asza.com
