Gotlander Mauritzson is a highly-regarded singer, and here, with impeccably woven arrangements from a core band of fiddler Hans Kennemark, Väsen guitarist Roger Tallroth and Groupa keyboardist Rickard Åström plus saxist Jonas Knutsson, and material centred on tradition but looking as far as African chorale, she shows her artistry and composing strength more clearly than ever.
