EILIF GUNDERSEN
Sådagen

Etnisk Musikklubb EM34 (2008)

A seasonal cycle of trad tunes played by Gundersen on two folk trumpets - the bukkehorn (goat horn), lur (longer, bugle-calling wooden trumpet) - and seljefløyte (no-hole whistle). He has remarkable control of these tricky instruments, joined occasionally by touches of ambient percussion, unexpectedly apt banjo or Gunnlaug Lien Myhr’s and his own vocals. www.emcd.no
