Giga GCD-47 (2004)
Two of Sweden’s most famous and lively fiddlers, Frifot’s Gudmundson, raised in
the Rättvik tradition, and Orsa-tradition maestro Ståbi, have often played
together, a meeting of styles, during the past thirty years. These solos and
duets on tunes from Dalarna and Hälsingland are an object-lesson in classy
playing and mutual understanding.
