Riddle songs, proverbial songs, ballads, stevs and children’s songs, most of them rarely heard in today’s revival, sung unaccompanied in verse-alternating duet or unison by two of Norway’s leading young traditional singers, both from Telemark. (Ingvill Marit is daughter of the well-known singer Agnes Buen Garnås).
