Agorila AGCD 645 (2011)

Significant Basque folk band’s 7th album. Light mostly female vocals, guitar, trikitixa, fiddle, keyboards, xirula, alboka etc plus guests in songs trad and original. A non-Euskara speaking listener has only the sound to go on, and this time it’s on the over-layered, stodgy side; could use cutting back to let in light and air, and more interesting melodies.
