ENTELI
Enteli Live
Amigo AMCD 738 (1998)
Very live album from the powerful Swedish jazz/traditional improvising band
comprising Lena Willemark, Ale Möller, leading saxist Jonas Knutsson, with Bengt
Berger on tabla and Johan Soderqvist keyboards and harmonium. People of immense
experience of traditional musics, so we’re not talking rootless noodling - this
is wild, gutty and multifaceted, drawing on joik, kulning, polska, Shakespeare,
Enteli’s Lord of The Rings radio score and much more.
