NELLO MIRANDO & KÁLMÁN URSZUI & THE ENERGYPSIES
Te Djiewiss
Fréa MWCD 4039 (2003)
Gypsy trad instrumentals from Hungary, Romania and Transylvania in a meeting of
two violinists, one Netherlands-resident, with Budapest quartet of clarinet,
cimbalom, bratsch and bass. They’re all excellent players, the three or four
lead instruments interweaving with a questing, surging, slithering, passionate
feel. www.musicwords.nl
