Debut album from able young fiddler, Newcastle graduate now Stockholm-based, who appeared on 2005 'Fiddles On Fire' UK tour. Solo, mostly Swedish tunes - Orsa and Bingsjö with Nils Agenmark and Gossa Anders inspiration - but also non-obvious English and Border that stand up well in subtle Swedish company thanks to her finely expressive playing. www.emmareid.se
