A very fine, creative fiddler, strong in a slew of line-ups on Finland’s current scene such as Spontaani Vire, Piia Kleemola & Co, Kirjava Lintu and Suo, here solo on five-string fiddle, which can plunge deep into muscular viola range, and nyckelharpa, in inventive developments of traditional tunes and songs (though her singing is less impressive than her fiddling).
