ELISEO PARRA
Tribus Hispanas
Música Sin Fin MSF CD 009 (1998)
His own songs in various styles of Iberian tradition, plus traditional songs. A
wide range of Iberian and other instruments played largely by Parra, reeds and
wind player Javier Paxariño and multi-instrumentalist Juan A. Arteche. Some of
the possible fire and sweat perhaps lost in the studio environment, but a fine
understanding of the great strengths of Iberian regional musics and the
possibilities of new creation within them.
