Religious lyrics with traditional tunes are a significant feature of Norwegian music; clear-voiced young vocal quartet Dvergmål, three female singers including Øyonn Groven Myhren and one male, Jon Anders Halvorsen, specialises in them. Here they sing lyrics by Elias Blix (1836-1902), self-accompanying on langeleik, lyre, seljefløyte, hardingfele and harmonium.
