Virtually all drawn from ARC’s existing catalogue, but nevertheless two very
useful samplers of fine, often dazzling, playing by indigenous musicians of a
wide range of stringed instruments, accompanied and solo, with OK booklet notes.
Hammered dulcimers from Hungary, China, India, Belarus, Romania, Mongolia,
Uzbekistan, Greece, Iran, Ukraine, Slovakia and US/UK, and the double Exotic
Strings has erhu, pipa, ruan, morin khuur, comuz, kamancha, kemençe, saz,
tanbur, oud, qanun, kora, nkokwane, charango, cuatro, koto, tsugaru shamisen,
phin, veena, sarangi, surbahar, sarod and dilruba.
