An impressive percussive piece just using the rasping chug of air through pumping bellows of this Portuguese group of four 3-row melodeons opens and closes a set of lyrical music, the instruments interweaving rather than ganging up on us. All tunes but one are by the group’s leader and teacher Artur Fernandes.
