DALIBOR ŠTRUNC
Prameny/Sources
Gnosis Brno G-MUSIC 017 (2000)
Interesting album of skilful Moravian cimbalom player Štrunc playing mostly his
own variously-rooted tunes in small ensemble or duet with violins, tarogáto,
mandolin, banjo, saxes, bassoon, oboe, clarinet, didj, bass or Katerina
Štruncová’s vocals. Vari-paced, often reflective, with little resemblance to
high-speed Hungarian, Romanian or gypsy cimbalom styles.
