16 of Galicia’s leading roots-influenced female musicians including Uxía, Mercedes Peón, Guadi Galego, Sonia Lebedynski, Leilía, Ialma, Susana Seivane and 86-year-old Señora Carmen. Varied musical styles, often large-scale production, but a strong uniting factor in the warm, full-voiced, real-singer vocals; no trace of the twee head-tone iffiness that seems acceptable in England.
