THE BULGARIAN VOICES ANGELITE
Bulgarian Passion
Jaro 4270-2 (2005)

Tracks from seven Jaro releases by the Bulgarian folk choir now known as Angelite, joined occasionally by un-named traditional instrumentalists. Some fine music, but not the ‘compilation of the finest recordings of Bulgarian song ever made’ claimed in the uninformative booklet, and torpedoed by the closer, an abusively tacky Italian disco-remix.
