KNUT BUEN
Seljordsmarsjen
Nyrenning NYCD6 (2004)
One of Norway’s best-known hardingfele players, solo, with close-up videos and
transcriptions also on the CD. The Napoleonic-like Bridal March From Seljord
and 18 other springars, gangars and listening tunes from the repertoires of two
19th-century Seljord, Telemark fiddlers and craftsmen, Øystein Langedrag and son
Leiv Sandsdalen. An excellent way to learn this music.
